Why Coaching
Most shooters aren't stuck because they don't practice. They're stuck because they've diagnosed the wrong problem, picked the wrong fix, or don't know how to apply the right one. You can shoot a doubles walk-back all day, see a low-left trend on your target, and still have no idea how to fix it.
That's what coaching with me fixes. We start with your goals: a classification, a major match, or just getting better. Then you shoot in front of me. There's no set curriculum and nothing memorized. I watch, I ask what you saw, what you felt, and what you were trying to do. Then we go after the thing that's actually holding you back right now.
My real goal is to teach you to coach yourself. I want you diagnosing your own problems and fixing them in practice. It's kind of putting myself out of a job. But a good coach still gets you farther, faster than you'd get on your own. You'll leave with clear goals, a real plan, and an appreciation for the fundamentals and the advanced stuff alike. No shortcuts.

Coaching
The main program, for one or two shooters. I come to your range two, three, or four times a year for six focused hours. Between visits, we have a one-hour live call every month: we review your footage, I assign homework, and I hold you to it.
2 Visits a Year
$6,000
3 Visits a Year
$9,000
4 Visits a Year
$12,000
Solo. With a training partner: $7,200, which is $3,600 each.
Most popular. Solo. With a training partner: $10,800, which is $5,400 each.
Quarterly. Solo. With a training partner: $14,400, which is $7,200 each.
Every option includes six-hour visits at your range, a one-hour live call every month, and homework with follow-up between visits. I'll come to you pretty much anywhere in the country.
Solo: $3,000 per visit ($1,500 coaching + $1,500 travel). With a training partner: $3,600 per visit. You split the travel fee, so it's $1,800 each instead of $3,000. Two-visit minimum, because coaching works through follow-through, not one-off lessons. Limited to eight coaching clients a year.
Closer to home, travel costs less. Within about 3 hours of Greenville, SC, the travel fee is $750. Come train with me in Upstate SC and there's no travel fee at all.
Add a Match Day: book an extra day on any visit and I'll walk you through a local match, or your very first one. +$1,500 solo, +$2,100 with a training partner.
Already in your area? If I'm near you for a major match or class, I can add a Friday or Monday visit with the travel fee cut by 70%, from $1,500 to $450. That makes a solo visit $1,950 instead of $3,000.

Squad Coaching
The same intense in-person coaching, for a group of three or four that already trains together, and the most flexible way to work with me. Train for one or two days at your range. Make one of those days a local match, and I'll coach you through it stage by stage. Or bring me along to coach your squad through a major match.
One day: $4,500 for the squad. That's $1,125 each with four shooters, or $1,500 each with three.
Two days: $7,000 for the squad. That's $1,750 each with four shooters, or $2,333 each with three.
Major match coaching is two days, same price as a two-day trip: either both match days, or a day of stage walks and a live-fire tune-up followed by your match day. Not available at majors I'm competing in.
Prices include the standard $1,500 travel fee, charged once per trip. Within about 3 hours of Greenville, SC, travel drops to $750, and there's no travel fee if your squad comes to me in Upstate SC.
No minimum. Book one trip at a time. Squad coaching does not include individual monthly calls.

Why Bring a Training Partner?
You'll make real progress on coaching day, but it only becomes permanent when you do the work between visits. Holding you to that work is my job. That's the heart of coaching.
A training partner adds a second layer: someone who shows up to practice with you on a random Tuesday, shoots matches with you, and knows exactly what you're working on. When you shoot the same matches, we can compare your scores and stage plans side by side, and on our monthly calls they're a second set of eyes on how things actually went.
When you train with me together, you both leave with the same language, the same drills, and the same standards, so every day I'm with you goes further.
Choose your partners carefully. They don't need to be your level. A B-class shooter and a Master can train together just fine. What matters is that they share your drive. Bring people who are as committed to getting better as you are, people who'll do the homework and expect you to do yours.

Private Lessons (Upstate SC)
Local to Upstate SC? Book a private lesson. Lessons are one-off sessions, usually booked on short notice, where we focus on one or two things that day. They don't include the monthly calls, homework, or follow-up that come with coaching. They're also the best way to see how I coach, and most local clients move into coaching from there.
Half day: $500
Full day: $900

Who This Is For
Coaching is open to anyone serious about getting better. Most of my clients are active competitors, but dedicated shooters who train hard without competing much are a great fit too.
If you're looking for tactics, this isn't it. I'm a shooting coach, not a tactics instructor.

How to Start
1. Apply. Tell me about your shooting and your goals.
2. Fit call. We make sure coaching is the right fit.
3. Lock your dates. A $1,000 deposit reserves your visits.
4. Pay as you go. Each visit's balance is due 14 days before I travel.

About Brennan
I help shooters find what's actually holding them back, and give them the tools to fix it themselves. That's my full-time job. I teach performance shooting classes nationwide, coach shooters one-on-one, and make training content for shooters working on their own.
Everything I coach comes from real experience. I know what it's like to put in the work and not see progress. I remember being a B-class shooter, then an A-class shooter, and grinding through the push from Master to Grandmaster. I've been where you are, and I know what it takes to get past it.
Today I'm a USPSA Grandmaster in Carry Optics and actively compete on the major match circuit. My coaching is principle-based, not technique-based, so you understand why something works, not just what to do. Everything I teach is pulled from my own experience.

FAQ
Why does this cost more than a class?
In a two-day class with 20+ students, you get maybe 45 minutes of the instructor's eyes on you. Here you get six hours of one-on-one coaching at your own range, plus monthly calls and follow-up between visits. Most top instructors only teach big classes. I come to you.
How long is a visit?
Six focused hours. Training at this intensity is hard to sustain past that.
Why a two-visit minimum?
Real progress needs follow-up. One-off lessons don't create lasting change.
Will I get worse before I get better?
Sometimes, yes. If we rebuild something foundational, like your grip, your match results can dip before the new skill sticks. That's normal, and it's exactly why coaching includes follow-up. We're building long-term improvement, not a quick fix.
What happens on the monthly calls?
We review your footage, talk through matches and practice, and I assign your next homework.
Can my partner be a different skill level?
Yes. Drive and commitment matter more than classification.
Why only eight clients a year?
Coaching only works if every client gets my real attention, on the range and between visits. I'd rather coach eight people well than twenty halfway.
Can you take me to my first match?
Yes. Add a Match Day to any coaching visit and I'll walk you through a local match, from the rules and safety area to every stage. It's +$1,500 solo or +$2,100 with a partner.
What days do you coach?
Solo and partner visits are usually on weekdays. Weekends are available too, with priority going to squads.
What's included in the price?
Coaching, travel, and for 1-2 shooters, the monthly calls. We train at your home range, and you bring your own ammo. If your range charges a fee, we split it evenly.
How do payments work?
A $1,000 deposit locks your dates, then each visit's balance is due 14 days before travel. Groups pay through one organizer.
What if coaching isn't worth it for me?
After your first two visits, if you've done the work (made the monthly calls, sent your footage, and done your homework) and don't feel coaching is worth it, tell me why within 30 days and I'll refund your coaching fees. Travel isn't refundable. I'd rather lose the money than keep a client who doesn't believe in what we're doing. This applies to solo and partner coaching, not Squad coaching.
